I own a pocket-size Coach purse, it'southward non big plenty for a make-up bag, then I thought nothing of it to put my eyeliner (pencil) in there. When I went to look in it, there was eyeliner marks all over one side, so I got a Q tip and put water on it, I then began to notice that it was coming off, so it started to employ a towel to get the marks out, it didn't help. Did I ruin this purse? Is there annihilation that I tin can do to go it off?

If a mall almost y'all has a Coach store, take it in and ask. If non, get the Charabanc phone number from a department shop that sells their purses. I know they have a whole line of leather cleaners/conditioners. They aren't the cheapist, merely I've had my Motorcoach purse for over five years now.
Yous can't beat the investment. FYI--the Coach shop will even change the brass buckles for you lot if you take it in. They will also make clean and condition the purse correct there in the shop using their products. Hope you lot can salvage your purse.

I asked someone who worked at Double-decker what is the best thing to clean the purse with and they told me Ivory dish lather. I tried using dish soap simply I didn't think it worked very well. Experimenting myself, I bought a bottle of Lestoil from the supermarket (in the detergent island) and diluted it with a trivial h2o & used a toothbrush to scrub the handbag and it worked wonderfully.
Endeavour that. Lestoil is besides dandy for hard to clean spots on wearing apparel. I swear past it. Adept luck.

I have been told that Wilson'due south (the leather store) leather cleaner and moisturizer is a cheaper substitute for the omnibus purses and other leather ware. It supposed to work but equally good equally the coach cleaners and moisturizers, but for less money.
I have never tried myself and so I can't give you lot an opinion on that. Good luck.

I am at a real loss. Some how I got sharpie on my new White Omnibus bag. The pocketbook is made from nylon and has a been "pre-treated" and so not to go any stains. Every other fourth dimension I go anything on it, I just wash it and it's gone.
Not this time. I didn't put information technology in the dryer, just a little bleach and a turn in the machine did nothing. Please help!

Have you tried mr. clean magic erasers ?? My youngest Son wrote on his shoes wirth a sharpie. I used the Mr. Make clean Magic eraser and it came right off..

We utilize Sharpies all the time on laminated paper for my preschool class...all we do is use fingernail polish remover to wipe it away. Not certain this volition work for nylon, but as long as it'south safe for the fabric, it's worth a try (and not very expensive)

I had purchased a used messenger Bus purse. It is navy blue, brown, and cream stripes in front, with cream straps with leather trim. The handbag is in good condition.

I don't know about bus merely Dooney and Burke has a lifetime warranty, and if anything breaks (or fades...I think) can be returned and exchanged for new (as long as they are notwithstanding making that detail bag). Not sure if this helps, just check out the warranty if you have one.

If it is a vinyl or leather purse, endeavour some Dow Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner. I accept used it on vinyl shoes and handbags, and it works groovy. If information technology is a material pocketbook, I would take information technology to a reputable dry cleaner to become information technology cleaned.
